Chiropractic Adjustment
Specific, low-amplitude joint manipulation to restore movement where a segment has stopped moving properly — supported by soft-tissue work rather than delivered on its own.
$65 per visit · $55 on a planTaking new patients · same-week appointments
Evidence-led chiropractic for backs, necks, discs and sciatica. Sixty-minute first visits, a stated number of sessions, exercise you actually do — and a referral elsewhere when that is the honest answer.
In-network with most carriers · $65 private visit · No prepaid packages, ever
And a great many we do not. If your problem is not on this list, the assessment will usually say so and we will send you to someone whose problem it is.

$65 per visit · $55 on a planFlexion-distraction decompression for disc bulges and radiating leg pain, combined with directional preference exercise. The single most common reason people find us.
$95 per session · 8–14 sessionsInstrument-assisted and manual release for the muscle and fascia around the joint. Adjusting a segment whose surrounding tissue is still locked down simply undoes itself by Thursday.
$78 per 30 minutesA programme built for your movement screen, done here and at home. This is the part that stops you needing us — which is the entire point of the exercise.
Included in care plansReturn-to-sport rehab, running gait analysis and pre-season screening for local clubs and runners. We work with three coaches and two physiotherapists in the district.
$110 gait analysisWebster-certified prenatal care using a drop table and pregnancy pillows, plus postnatal work on the pelvis and thoracic spine. Gentle, and specifically not a general adjustment.
$70 per visitThe diagnosis comes out of the history and the examination. No amount of good treatment rescues a wrong one, which is why the first appointment here is an hour rather than the twelve-minute intake that has become normal.
Twenty minutes of questions about how it started, what makes it worse, how you sleep and what your job does to you. Most of the answer is in here.
Orthopaedic and neurological testing, range of motion, and a movement screen. We are looking for a pattern, not a vertebra that feels stiff.
What we think is going on, what we are not sure about, and honestly whether chiropractic is the right treatment for it at all.
If it is appropriate to treat on day one, we treat. If you need imaging or a referral first, we will say so and arrange it.

I qualified in 2011 and spent my first two years in a practice that sold prepaid year-long plans to everyone who walked in. I left because I could not tell which of our patients were getting better and which had simply bought a lot of visits.
Trueline runs the opposite way. A stated number of visits, a review point where we honestly reassess, a discharge, and a referral out whenever chiropractic is not the right tool — which turns out to be about one patient in nine.

Every care plan has an end. We tell you at the outset roughly how many visits it should take and what we expect at each stage, and if you are not improving by the review we change the plan or refer you on.
Around one in nine people who walk in here leave with a referral rather than a treatment plan. Chiropractic is very good at a specific set of problems and useless at others, and pretending otherwise wastes your money.
An adjustment restores movement; exercise is what keeps it. Practices that only adjust are the reason people believe you have to go forever — the joint moves again and then goes straight back.
Not the twelve-minute intake that has become normal. History and examination are where the diagnosis actually comes from, and no amount of treatment fixes a wrong one.
Red flags get referred the same day. Unexplained weight loss, night pain, progressive weakness, saddle numbness or loss of bladder control are not chiropractic problems and we will get you to the right place immediately.
Sixty-five dollars a visit, fifty-five on a plan. No mandatory X-rays, no prepaid year-long packages, and no financing paperwork for a course of treatment that ought to cost a few hundred dollars.
This is not a diagnosis and it never will be — it is the same reasoning our practitioners use to decide what a first appointment should look at, and roughly how long a problem like yours usually takes.
AI Pain Assessment
Almost never. Most people describe pressure and then a release, and the audible pop is gas coming out of solution in the joint fluid — it is not a bone moving back into place, whatever anyone has told you. If an area is acutely inflamed we use lower-force techniques such as a drop table or an activator instead. You will always be told what is about to happen before it happens.
Most straightforward mechanical back and neck problems resolve in six to twelve visits over four to eight weeks. Disc-related pain with leg symptoms typically takes eight to fourteen. You will be given a number at the first appointment along with what we expect at the review point, and if you are not improving by then we change the plan or refer you rather than continuing.
No, and we would be doing you a disservice if we implied it. Every plan here has a discharge date. Some people choose to come back occasionally when a familiar problem starts to stir, which is entirely reasonable, but that is a decision you make rather than a subscription we sell.
Usually not. Routine imaging for uncomplicated back pain does not change treatment and exposes you to radiation for no benefit — which is the position of essentially every clinical guideline. We image when there is a specific clinical reason: significant trauma, suspected fracture, progressive neurological signs, or a history that raises a red flag. Any practice that X-rays everyone who walks in is doing it for reasons that are not clinical.
Serious adverse events from spinal manipulation are rare, and the most common side effect by far is short-lived soreness for a day. That said, we screen for the specific contraindications every time — vascular risk factors, inflammatory arthritis, significant osteoporosis, anticoagulant use — and we use lower-force techniques or refer where the screen suggests it. If you would rather we did not adjust your neck at all, say so and we will work around it.
We are in-network with most major carriers and will verify your benefits before the first visit so you know your copay in advance rather than afterwards. If you are paying privately it is $65 a visit or $55 on a care plan, and we publish those prices in reception. There are no prepaid year-long packages and no financing.
Leave your details and reception will call with the first three available times, and will have verified your insurance benefits before you arrive so there are no surprises at the desk.
