Motor Vehicle Collisions
Car, truck and motorcycle claims — including the commercial-carrier cases where an insurer sends an investigator to the scene before the ambulance has left. We send ours too.

Plaintiff-side trial attorneys handling serious injury and wrongful death across the state. No fee unless we recover — and a partner, not a case manager, works your file.
Practice areas
We do not write wills, close houses or handle divorces. We represent injured people against insurance companies, and that narrowness is exactly why we are good at it.
Car, truck and motorcycle claims — including the commercial-carrier cases where an insurer sends an investigator to the scene before the ambulance has left. We send ours too.
Cases that change a life permanently. We work with life-care planners and vocational economists so the number reflects forty years of need, not four months of bills.
Third-party liability claims that sit alongside a workers' compensation file — the recovery route most injured workers are never told exists.
Handled with the restraint these matters deserve. We manage the estate procedure, the carriers and the press so a family can grieve without a claims adjuster calling.
Falls, inadequate security and unsafe property conditions. These cases are won or lost on evidence that disappears in days — we preserve it in hours.
When your own insurer delays, underpays or denies a valid claim. Bad-faith exposure is often what finally moves a carrier that would not move on the underlying claim.

The firm
Ray Calloway and I met as opposing counsel — he was defending insurers, I was suing them. He crossed the aisle in 1998 and never went back. Knowing exactly how the defence values a file is the most useful thing this firm owns.
We keep the caseload deliberately small. Every file has a partner on it, and every client has that partner’s mobile number. If that sounds like an inefficient way to run a law firm, it is. It is also why our clients recover what they do.
Why this firm
Every firm advertises experience and compassion. These are the four structural things that genuinely move the number on a settlement cheque.
You pay nothing up front and nothing hourly. Our fee is a percentage of what we recover, agreed in writing before we file anything. If we recover nothing, you owe us nothing — including the case costs we fronted.
Not a paralegal with a partner's signature. The attorney you meet at the consultation is the attorney who negotiates your settlement and, if it comes to it, stands up at trial. You get their mobile number.
Roughly 96% of cases settle, and they settle for more when the other side knows you are genuinely prepared to try it. Firms that never see a courtroom get quietly discounted by every adjuster in the state.
A status update every fortnight without you chasing it, and calls returned the same business day. The single most common complaint about lawyers is silence. We treat it as a service failure.
Free case evaluation
This estimator models the way general damages are actually calculated — economic losses plus a multiplier driven by injury severity, adjusted for how clear liability is. It is a starting range, not a promise.
⚖ AI Case Value Estimator
Four questions. The model is built on how carriers and juries in this state have actually valued comparable claims.
Client outcomes
Before you call anyone
Including the ones with television commercials. If a firm will not answer these plainly, that tells you something.
Nothing up front, and nothing hourly. We work on a contingency fee — a percentage of what we recover, agreed in writing before we do anything. We also advance every case cost: filing fees, expert witnesses, accident reconstruction, medical record retrieval. If we do not recover anything for you, you owe us nothing at all, including those advanced costs.
A straightforward claim with clear liability and completed medical treatment often resolves in six to twelve months. Cases requiring suit, disputed liability or serious injury commonly run eighteen months to three years. The single biggest factor is your medical treatment — we generally do not want to settle before your doctors know the long-term picture, because you only get to settle once.
Almost never, and please talk to a lawyer before you sign anything. First offers are routinely a fraction of case value, and they are frequently made before anyone knows the full extent of your injuries. Signing a release ends your claim permanently — even if you need surgery six months later. There is no cost to having us look at an offer before you accept it.
Honestly, nobody can tell you precisely at the outset — anyone who does is guessing or selling. Value turns on liability, the severity and permanence of your injuries, your medical costs, lost earnings, and how much insurance coverage actually exists. The estimator on this page will give you an informed range based on comparable cases, and a consultation will narrow it considerably.
Yes, and missing it ends your claim regardless of merit. Most personal injury claims here carry a two-year statute of limitations from the date of injury, but there are significant exceptions — claims against government entities can require formal notice within as little as 90 days, and medical negligence follows different rules. This is the main reason not to wait.
Probably not. Around 96% of our cases resolve without trial. But we prepare every file as though it is going to trial, because that preparation is precisely what produces a serious settlement offer. Adjusters track which firms actually try cases, and they price accordingly.
