What we install
We turn down work we’re not the best at. Everything below, we run in-house with our own W-2 crews — no day labor, no subcontractor roulette.
Complete tear-off to the deck, new synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, ridge ventilation and architectural shingles. Most homes finished in a single day.
50+ year lifespan, Class 4 impact rated, and it usually earns an insurance discount. Concealed fastener panels rolled to length on site.
We document the damage, meet your adjuster on the roof, and fight the scope line by line. You pay your deductible — that's it.
TPO, EPDM and modified bitumen for warehouses, retail and multifamily. Night and weekend installs so you never close the doors.
Seamless 6-inch aluminum formed on site, oversized downspouts and leaf protection. The cheapest foundation insurance you'll ever buy.
Solar-powered skylights and balanced intake/exhaust ventilation. Fixes the ice dams and the 130° summer attic at the same time.
Who’s on your roof
Ironclad started in 1995 with my father, one truck and a nail gun he still keeps on the office wall. We’ve grown to six crews and a full claims department, but the standard hasn’t moved an inch: every roof gets built like it’s going over my own family’s heads.
Our crews are W-2 employees — not subcontractors. They’re OSHA 30 certified, they carry our insurance, and the same foreman who quotes your job is standing on your roof when it gets built. If something’s wrong at year twelve, you call the number on this page and we come back.

Why homeowners choose Ironclad
Manufacturers warranty the shingle. Almost nobody warranties the install — and that's what actually fails. Ours is lifetime and transferable to the next owner.
Our claims team meets your adjuster on the roof with photo documentation and line-item estimates. Last year we recovered an average of $6,100 more per claim than the initial offer.
Most residential tear-offs and rebuilds finish between sunrise and dinner. We run rolling magnets over your entire lot twice before we pull out.
Every person on your property is on our payroll, background checked and covered by our liability and workers' comp. Ask any competitor for that in writing.
We fly a 4K drone before anyone climbs. You get the full photo report by email whether you hire us or not — including a repair-vs-replace recommendation.
0% for 12 months or long-term terms up to 15 years. Soft credit pull, decision in minutes, and no prepayment penalty if you settle up when the claim check lands.
Free drone inspection
Use the AI estimator for a number in ten seconds, then book a real drone inspection. We’ll tell you if you need a repair instead of a replacement. That happens more than you’d think.

Hail took out our roof in May. Ironclad met the adjuster on the roof, disputed his scope, and got the claim raised by $9,400. We paid our $2,500 deductible and got a brand new roof. I still don't quite believe it.
Three bids. Two guys tried to scare me. Dean's foreman climbed up, took photos, and told me I had four to six years left and just needed the valleys resealed. Charged me $700. When I do need a roof, guess who's getting the call.
Standing seam metal on a 1920s farmhouse with six different rooflines. Crew was here four days, cleaned up every night, and the thing looks like architecture now. Worth every dollar of the premium.
They tarped our roof at 11pm during the storm and had the full replacement done nine days later. Two other companies never called back. That's the whole review.
We own three strip centers. Ironclad has re-roofed all of them in TPO with zero tenant complaints because they work nights. Invoicing matched the bid to the dollar, every single time.
Tear-off started at 6:40am and they were pulling out by 5. My wife walked the yard barefoot the next morning on purpose to test the magnet sweep. Not one nail. She was almost disappointed.
Before you sign anything
In this market, a full architectural shingle replacement on a typical 2,000–2,400 ft² home runs $16,000–$24,000. Designer shingles add roughly 50%, and standing seam metal runs $32,000–$58,000 on the same house. Price is driven by squares, pitch, layers to tear off, and how many penetrations and valleys the roof has. The estimator above will get you close in about ten seconds.
If the damage is from a covered event — hail, wind, a fallen limb — usually yes, and you're responsible for your deductible only. The trap is the adjuster's initial scope, which is almost always light. We meet them on the roof with our own documentation and dispute line by line. Last year that recovered an average of $6,100 more per claim for our customers.
Often, yes — and we'll tell you so. If the roof is under 15 years old, the damage is isolated, and we can still source matching shingles, a repair is the right call and we'll quote it. We turn down replacement work every week for exactly this reason. What we won't do is patch a roof that's out of life and let you pay twice.
Most residential jobs are single-day: tear-off starts around 6:30am, dry-in by early afternoon, cleanup done before dinner. Complex rooflines and metal installs run two to five days. We never leave a roof open overnight — if weather turns, it gets dried in before the crew goes home.
Two layers. The manufacturer covers the material — typically 30 years to lifetime, and because we hold the top manufacturer certification we can register enhanced coverage most contractors can't offer. Then our own lifetime workmanship warranty covers the installation itself, which is what fails 90% of the time. It's transferable once if you sell.
No. You pay nothing until material is physically delivered to your driveway, and the balance is due at completion after you've walked the job with the foreman. If you're financing, nothing is drawn until the roof passes final inspection. Be very careful with any roofer asking for a large check before materials arrive.
