Local Services Ads · Troubleshooting
Google LSA Dashboard Gone? Here’s What Happened.
Most likely your account was moved. Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads, and once that happens you manage everything there instead of the old dashboard. Your leads, messages and call recordings come with you. Your past performance reports don’t.
No contract. No exit fee. Your domain and Google accounts stay in your name.

You log in on Monday morning, ready to check your leads. The dashboard you have used for years is not there. The screen looks different, or it sends you somewhere new. Your stomach drops. Did Google shut you down?
Take a breath. Do not change any settings yet. Most likely, this is Google’s planned move, not a problem with your account. The quick check below takes under a minute and tells you which one you have. If it looks like a real problem, you will know to get help today.

Was my LSA account moved to Google Ads?
If Google emailed you in the last few weeks, and you can see a Performance Max campaign with pay-per-lead goals in Google Ads, then yes. That campaign is your LSA now.
Google is moving Local Services Ads in waves. Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, pest control, moving, lawn care, appliance repair and house cleaning businesses in the U.S. started moving in August 2026. Businesses that go to the customer, without a storefront, follow in late 2026. Everyone else moves in 2027. If you are a plumber in Georgetown or an HVAC company in Leander, you have very likely moved, or you are close.
Here are the signs your account was moved and not broken:
- Google emailed your account administrator 14 days and 7 days before the move.
- There is a Performance Max campaign with pay-per-lead goals in your Google Ads account.
- Your old leads, message threads and call recordings show up in the lead manager inside Google Ads.
- Your budget now shows as daily, not weekly.
Not seeing the email, the campaign or your leads? Stop guessing and get the account looked at. For the full story behind the change, read whether Google Local Services Ads are going away.

Where did my leads, settings and reports go?
Most of it is in Google Ads. Your leads, messages, call recordings and campaign settings all moved. Your past performance reports did not, because Google does not move them. This table shows where each piece ended up.
| What you’re looking for | Where it is now | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| New and past leads | Lead manager in Google Ads | Give whoever answers leads access to Google Ads |
| Message threads | Lead manager in Google Ads | Reply from there, same as before |
| Call recordings | Google Ads | Nothing, they come over on their own |
| Budget | Campaign settings, now daily | Check it equals your old weekly average divided by 7 |
| Bidding | Campaign settings, automated | Manual max cost per lead is gone; review your target CPA |
| Service areas, job types, photos | Campaign settings | Confirm they carried over correctly |
| Google Verified badge | Comes over on its own | Nothing, unless Google Ads shows a notice |
| Past impressions, clicks, weekly spend | Not moved | Check the redirection page for a download; screenshot what you can |

Why can’t I find my old LSA reports?
Because Google leaves them behind. Past impressions, clicks, weekly spend and ad-level reports stay in the old dashboard when an account moves. That is expected. It is not a fault.
It does mean your comparisons now depend on what you saved. If your account moved and nobody saved anything, look for a download on the redirection page. Then pull what you can from invoices, your call tracking and your own job records.
When you judge the new campaign, compare it to the same weeks last year, not last week. Home service demand around Austin and Round Rock swings hard with the weather: triple-digit August heat for AC calls, spring hail for roofers, a hard freeze for plumbers.

My LSA ads stopped running. Is that the move?
Not normally. Google says where and how your ads show on Search and Maps stays the same after the move. So ads that stopped usually mean something else, and that needs a look the same day.
These are the causes we see most often:
- A big Google Business Profile change. Google says major edits need a new check and can pause campaigns for 24 to 48 hours. A new business name, a move, or a new main category can do it.
- Billing. An expired card or a new payment method can stop ads quietly.
- Budget or bidding. A daily budget that runs out early, or a target cost per lead set too low, can make ads show far less.
- Access. The campaign is running, but in a Google Ads account nobody on your team is logged in to.
Every day your ads are off, those calls go to whoever is next to you on the list. If LSA brings you real jobs, get LSA and Google Ads help from someone who can look at the account, instead of trying one fix at a time. Call (512) 553-9675.

Why did my LSA leads drop after the move?
Usually it is bidding and budget. Your moved campaign now bids by itself toward one target cost per lead. The old manual top price is gone, and your weekly budget became a daily one. Any of those can change how many leads you get in the first weeks.
A small dip in the first week or two can settle as the automatic bidding learns. A drop of more than half your normal leads usually means a setting is wrong. Maybe the target is lower than leads really cost in your market. Maybe the daily budget is smaller than you thought. Or your service areas and job types did not carry over the way you expected.
If your leads dropped and your website changed recently, check that too. A broken booking page or phone number costs you leads no matter what the ads do. That is what website recovery is for.

Why did my Google Verified status change?
Not because of the move by itself. Google says an existing Google Verified badge comes over on its own, and it no longer asks you to check your insurance and license again. A change usually traces back to a business detail you changed.
Look first at anything you updated lately: business name, address, service area or license details. If Google needs more checks, it shows a notice inside Google Ads. If the badge changed and your ads also stopped, treat it as urgent.
Who should I call about my LSA?
For questions about the move itself, Google has its own support line: 1-844-205-0011, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm Eastern. Use it. We are not Google, and we will not pretend to be.
Where our team helps is the part a support line does not cover. We look at your bidding, budget, service areas, Business Profile and leads together, tell you plainly what is wrong, and fix it. We are a Round Rock agency that works with local businesses, and you can see what we have done for others.

Quick answers
Was my LSA account suspended?
Probably not. If your dashboard just moved and you got an email about the move, it is the planned move into Google Ads. If you got no email and your ads have also stopped, get the account looked at.
Can I go back to the old LSA dashboard?
No. Once an account moves, the campaign is run only from Google Ads. You may still reach the redirection page, which is where Google points you to download past reports.
How long do ads pause after a Business Profile change?
Google says big updates need a new check and can pause campaigns for 24 to 48 hours. Basic details like name, address and hours otherwise copy over within 24 hours.
Where do LSA messages go after the move?
Into the lead manager in Google Ads, along with your past leads and call recordings. Whoever replies to customers needs access to that Google Ads account.
Can someone fix my LSA today?
Call (512) 553-9675 and tell us what you are seeing. On that call we will tell you honestly whether it looks like the normal move or something to deal with today.
