Came for video, stayed for everything
A practice owner hired us to make a few videos, then kept going: I bit the bullet and had him make a few videos for me. I have not stopped using his services since.
Her full review is published on our homepage, with the platform it came from.
02 The challenge
Problems we solve
Content fails for local businesses in three predictable ways, and none of them are about talent on camera.
It stops after six weeks
Most plans are designed for a business with spare time. Ours assumes you have none: one visit, ten minutes, a month of material.
The profile looks abandoned
A Google profile with no photos since it was created reads as a business that might not answer the phone. Google notices too.
It chases the wrong number
Followers are the least connected metric a local trade has. What matters is whether the person who already found you picks up the phone.

03 Formats
The four formats that work
Almost everything that produces work for a trade or a practice is one of these, and none of them need a studio or a script.
The job walk-through
Sixty seconds of the work being done. This is what answers the doubt about whether you have handled a job like theirs before.
Before and after
Two photos and one sentence. The least effort on this list and consistently the best performer.
The weekly question
You answer it on the phone five times a week. Said once to a camera it becomes a post, a page, and something AI can quote.
Who is turning up
Thirty seconds introducing the person who will be at the door. For somebody letting a stranger into their house, this does the work.
04 What you get
What lands each month
An agreed count, written into the quote, so nobody is guessing later about what was delivered.
Short vertical video
Cut for a phone screen, filmed on site or from footage you already have on your own phone.
Job photos, everywhere
Sized and uploaded to the Google Business Profile as well as social, because the profile is where buyers look.
Posts that answer questions
The things you get asked on the phone every week, written the way you would say them.
Pages where they belong
When a question deserves a permanent home it becomes a page that can rank on its own rather than a post that scrolls away.
Review requests and replies
Sent at the moment the customer is happiest, with replies written for everything that lands, including the bad ones.
Social media management
We plan, post and reply on the platforms your customers use, like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, so your accounts never look abandoned.
Video editing and production
Filmed on site, or edited from footage you send. We have edited video for Pediatric Dentistry of San Diego for years.
PR and press releases
When you have real news, like a new location, a community project or an award, we write the release and pitch it to local outlets.
Everything reused
Made once, working in three places: the site, the profile and social. Never made three separate times.

05 The compounding part
Reviews are content, and they do the most work
A steady flow of reviews moves local visibility more reliably than anything else you can publish, and it is the piece most businesses leave to chance. The process matters more than the ask: the right moment, the happiest customer, a link that takes two taps.
We set the routine up, keep it running and write the replies. Answering a bad review properly is worth more than three good ones, because that is the exchange a nervous customer reads most closely.
For businesses near us, reviews feed the map directly. That connection is covered on the Round Rock digital marketing page.
06 In their words
What clients say
Google reviews of Visible Owl, all five stars. Content, reviews and the profile are the part clients notice first.
Very professional team, results oriented, and deeply experienced in the Dental Market. We had a great success working with Visible Owl team, and our SEO ranking significantly improved and the google ranking as well. We are so grateful for the work they have done so far to improve our website and Google Business Profile.
I owe it to them. They scaled my business within the first month. Great team and great people.
07 Money
What content costs
Social media management starts at $595 a month, and it is included in the Dominate SEO plan. Bigger months, with more videos or filming on site, are priced by volume. See all prices.
It is its own line on the quote, separate from hosting, the build and any search work, so you can drop it without renegotiating anything else. Month to month, no contract, no exit fee. Most people start small: one filming visit, a month cut from it, and the review routine switched on.
08 Next step
Start with what is already on your phone
Send twenty photos and clips from recent jobs and we will tell you what a month of content built from them looks like, before you spend anything.
Sometimes the answer is that your photos are strong enough to carry six weeks and the real gap is the review routine. Sometimes it is that the site needs fixing first, in which case we will say so.
09 Common questions
Content questions small business owners actually ask
Do I have to be on camera?
No. A good share of the best small business video is the work itself: the before and after, the repair, the finished room, the machine running again, the van arriving. Voiceover or on-screen text carries the explanation.
If you are willing to be on camera it does help, because people hire people and a face makes an unfamiliar business feel less risky. But it is not a requirement, and it is not worth forcing if it makes you stiff on film.
Which platforms should my business be on?
Usually fewer than you think. For most local trades the Google Business Profile matters more than any social network, because that is where somebody who is ready to hire is already looking. After that, one platform your customers actually use, done properly.
Posting the same thing to six platforms nobody checks is a good way to feel busy. We would rather do one or two well and put the rest of the effort into the profile and the site.
Does social media help my Google rankings?
Not directly, and anyone telling you a post moves a ranking is overselling it. What content does is feed the things that do move: an active profile with fresh photos, reviews arriving steadily, pages that answer real questions, and mentions on sites that are not yours.
The clearer effect is on the decision rather than the ranking. It changes whether the person who already found you picks up the phone, which is worth more than a position nobody clicks.
How often should a small business post?
Consistently beats frequently. A handful of genuinely useful pieces a month, published on a routine, outperforms a burst of daily posting that stops in March, both for customers and for the profile.
We agree a count you can actually sustain with us, and we build the month from one filming visit rather than asking you to produce something every day.
Who writes the captions and the posts?
We do, after talking to you. The parts worth reading are the things only you know: what customers ask on the phone, what goes wrong on a job, what you refuse to do and why. We get that out of you in a conversation and write from it.
Nothing is published in your name without you seeing it first. If a post says something you would never say to a customer's face, it does not go out.
Can you use footage and photos we already have?
Yes, and it is usually the fastest way to start. Most businesses have a phone full of job photos and clips that have never been used for anything, which is often enough for a month of content without a single new shoot.
Send twenty of them and we will tell you honestly what can be made from them and what is missing.
How do you get customers to leave reviews?
A routine, not a hope. The request goes out at the moment the customer is most pleased, usually right after the job is signed off, with a link that takes two taps. We handle the sending, the follow-up and the replies.
We never buy, incentivise or write reviews. Beyond being against Google's rules and grounds for having your reviews wiped, a fake review reads as fake to the exact customer you were trying to convince.
How do you measure whether content is working?
Against the things that produce work: Google Business Profile views, calls and direction requests, traffic and time on the service pages the content supports, review count and velocity, and any leads that name a specific video or post.
Follower counts are not in the report. For a local service business they are the least connected number available, and reporting them is usually a sign that the connected ones are not moving.

G. JesusBusiness owner Round Rock, TX · Google review · 5★“We were honestly at the point where we didn't know what was working anymore, our business is located in Round Rock, TX. We were paying for Google Ads, had someone doing SEO before, and our website looked decent, but the leads were inconsistent and nobody could really explain why. Visible Owl went through everything instead of treating each thing separately. Website, tracking, Google Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile, landing pages, all of it.”
